Thanks!! The MOE handguard is an amazing bang for the buck. Comfy, light, cheap, and the MOE rail sections attach very securely. Really can't complain.

Not sure where they got this but it is way off... There are only about 11k-14 total homicides in the US annually, and about 8-9k of those are firearm homicides... If we are going to present our argument, let's do so accurately.
There is absolutely no requirement to have a driver's license to buy a car. Nor is there any requirement to register it or have insurance on it. You can buy a car and drive it only on private property, or a race track or whatever, without a license, without an age restriction (from a legal...
just an FYI, I worked for a while in a legislative office, here is how emails, letters, phone calls, etc are handled.
Employee (usually an intern or low level clerk) receives the Email, letter, or phone call. That person reads/listens, then records that person's name, where they live (town, or...
Maybe, not entirely sure, all I get is an M9, even then only for deployments.
As for LEO's and Glocks, I believe the statistic is 60% of LEOs carry Glock. Much of that is a combination of 3 factors. 1) Glock flooded the LEO market when they first showed up with cheap bids. 2) Glocks have a good...
Military still issues the M9 (92FS with minor tweaks) as the standard sidearm. DOD special agents (OSI, CID, NCIS) and Navy SEALs carry M11's (basically a Sig P226). Some MARSOC (USMC Spec ops) units carry modernized 1911's. Finally I have heard rumors that some spec ops units have on occasion...
Wouldn't it be easier to get an SKS and put on a bigger box mag... then you have something you can load quickly with stripper clips and is more accurate than an AK. (in some places, the way the law is written, the capacity limits only end up applying to detachable mags.)
Technically they are correct. Gauge, and Caliber are two specific and different methods for measuring a bore. Saying .410 bore is correct but very general, and a non-gun person would have no idea what you meant. If you told an engineer, scientist, or mathematician who knew nothing about guns...
He is Gabby Gifford's husband and one of the ones leading the AWB charge. He claimed online that he would be buying the AR-15 and then turning it over to the police in order to get it off the streets.
Snow Bird:
There is more than 1 state that allows unlicensed open carry, some examples of ones with permissive open carry laws: Alaska, New Mexico, Arizona, Vermont, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina... these states allow it but there are some...
CCHGN has some great points, our LE agencies are actually a vital component of our defense strategy, arming them up gives a great defensive force that is never sent overseas. SO is there cause to worry, maybe... but I don't think paranoia is necessarily warranted.
agree on the size bit! and objectively the glock 19 is awesome! I just didn't like how it felt in the hand and couldn't get exitced enough about it to buy one. It was part of why I looked at the PPQ, roughly the same size, same simplicity, but with ergo's that were much better IMHO and a killer...
