Shot today, just playing. Was able to hit 8 inch gong @ 80 yards. Just about every shot. Woot! -- 115 fmj.
This optic rules. (Holosun 507c green) When i do my part the Dagger does the rest. Trigger is pretty good. Its like the S&W type with the leg on the end. Was having some ftf's with the factory spring. Swapped in 15lb spring, smooth sailing, no more issues. Comp actually works.
Photo of my "range" if ya zoom you can see the target just right of the feeder rack. Had to switch the optic from bullseye to dot.
It is so nice to go outdoors and take a short walk and shoot. Very cool. Cant wait to get set up and reload.

Also wore the G26 in a hip holster for a few hours, hated it. Switched off to G19x ish. In chest holster. Need to sand the end of the holster for the comp. Too tight. View attachment 231534
You can probably heat that kydex with the wife's hair dryer and reshape it. Don't tell her...

Day late, but had to sand/refinish my new Altamont grip for my 69. It interfered just enough with my speed loaders that I couldn't let it go. FWIW, contacted Altamont, let 'em know I wasn't skeered of a little sanding. They were all about taking the grip back and making it right, but when I persisted, they told me all I needed to know to DIY. Like me some Altamont.

Dug around an found a scope to use temporarily. Nikon P tactical 1.5x4.5. Has .223 drop comp. For the R15. Have 2 better ones(Vortex and Nikon) but could not find them in the jumbled conex. I normally hunt with 3x or 4x. This ones not real good at dusk or dawn. (20mm) Might be a blessing, I like the lightweight of the rifle.

I keep trying to do that, unsuccessfully. I ordered a sling and case for the Howa 308 I'm giving my son for his birthday this month, that will be one. I took my new Howa 308 all apart in preparation for bedding the B&C stock. The new 6.5cm is done and ready to be sighted in!
I finally gave in and left this 3-12x56 Tasco Titan on here (I know Tasco gives folks heartburn, but these old Japanese 30mm are damn nice, and getting hard to find)
20" med barrel, extremely smooth polished action, Atlasworx DBM, stock is fully bedded & fore end has an aluminum strut epoxied in, very stiff! Some cleaning items & ammo. He's 35 this month, you think he's old enough to receive such a gift?

Last night I finished my DB10 6.5 upper, ordered Rocksett for the SFMB. I finished the Howa 6.5 a few weeks ago. Been buying a variety of ammo for testing in the 16" barrels. Very excited to get started!

I have 3 Titans, this was the nicest, but since it's always lived on this rifle, I decided to leave it. I've been buying Vortex scopes lately for my current builds. I have a few older Weaver Kaspa scopes I like as well.

Are you going to swap out the pistol grip for the one you skeletonized? Maybe skeletonize the mag well? Maybe just swap lowers? Tavors don't need trigger guards so AR's don't either ;)

How lightweight are you going to go?
    REMINGTON R15 VTR-- 18 INCH

No mods on this one. It's already light. 6 3/4 lbs. Added 1.5x4.5 lpvo. Shoots great. Set "0" @100 yards. Factory single stage trigger is not bad. May get LaRue mbt2 later. Changed the CH to an ambi warhammer, way better when using optic. 0 issues, except needed more ammo.

Shot 55 gr winchester fmj as well as hornady 55gr a max. Best group shown at 4.5 x. @100.( A-max) I was clipping evil pinecones too. Figure if I can pop a pinecone I can pop a crow.

VERY, VERY, VERY pleased with the rifle. Thank you Brian.
I can guarantee the rifle is more accurate than I am. Used bogpod and chair.
