Yes 9mm. Won't be there tomorrow as I already have work commitments. I do plan to make at least one if not both February matches, though.

Fantastic! Remember that both February matches are Classifiers.

It looks like I won't be finishing that AR tonight. Just checked the tracking number and there was no one available to sign for the delivery of my lowers (home-based FFL). Oh well, hopefully I'll be able to get them tomorrow so I can finish it sometime this weekend.

Are you still doing the side match?

Definitely. This is a new all FDE AR that I was working on. Even if I did finish it, it wouldn't be sighted in for the match. I did receive the Hipertouch trigger last night. I may have to replace one of my Geissele's with it tonight, just to see how it feels.

Assembled my 300BO upper reciever only to find out my kak flash can was too wide. Well just ordered a slim kak can. Listed the other on in for sale section. Looks good overall though. Got a great deal on the hamdguard from a buddy of mine.

I honestly dont know the manufacturer of it. But it uses a barrel nut that doesnt have to be indexed, just torqued down. Also the hand guard gets slimmer in the middle of the rail then goes to a wider diameter at both ends.

that clear is pretty cool. I like it.

Today I replaced my busted up Fortis rail with a UTG Pro rail. I like it. Forget the old "UTG is crap" stuff, this is actually damn nice, as nice as the Troy, Fortis, and Samson I have run. Then again, its just a mounting provision for accessories, not so sure what all the hooplah is about some of these rails.

I started off my day of gun stuff by purchasing a .38/.357 lever action rifle, thanks to Garpo, and Kenny's Gun Room for the transfer. Then me and my buddy headed to Styx shooting center to try it out. They were a little more packed than I prefer so we finally figured out how to get to the upper river delta WMA shooting range and had a great time shooting the.38/.357 rifle and a few ARs.

Great seeing all the usual suspects at IDPA today and great to meet you, Sean! After the match was over, I sold a gun and a few AR parts and met 3 other members of GCGF. I always love meeting members in person.

Shot IDPA this morning and actually got to pick up some brass since Snowbird, Tim and Gordon were on another squad. Went out to JJ's this afternoon. He cut my 870 barrel down for me. Cold on the range this morning but great day.

Cold n windy this morning for sure, good thing there wasn't any long range shooting involved. Other than my procedural mag changes my only regret was not getting the number to the man selling the xdm, maybe I'll see him next time. Or maybe put something on craigslist missed connections...

You too sir! You're not nearly as hairy as Ian said you were. Excellent beard but it really doesn't come out the top of you shoes like he described.
