    On a 55' Hatteras (sport/fish) up and down the east coast,we used to call jet ski's "speed bumps".
    I would trim the stern of the boat down so that at 6-10kts or so it would produce a 5ft wake (in the ICW). The jet ski people would follow us for miles jumping it. The surfers would get towed up behind by a jet ski,then ride the wake like a normal wave.
    Tons of fun forking with these guys.
    We made up cardboard signs with - -> 8.5,9.0,9.5,and 10.0 on them to hold up after a jump.
    When we got tired of this we would trim bow down and accelerate to 22kts.

    Seriously (not). sounds cold. It's 72 and going to 72 here today. I'll need to water the roses later possibly. Got to love this FloraBama winter weather.
