Working in snow removal ruined all winter sports for me. But I'll be back to play in the snow sooner or later. I'll just be a long term visitor. Can't wait for a July high temp of 75, either. I'm going to be a traveling man when I retire, all over the map! I want to see it all

Yep, paid for 8 every day. Over 8 is OT. Over 40 a week is OT. Sometimes on Sun we only work 4hrs.

Direct deposit once a month at the end. I've been here long enough to earn 8 weeks paid vacation. I wait and draw it at the end of December. So I'm covered till March when I go back to work. Works out good.

Had a Security alert tonight while going thru the locks. A raccon jumped onto the ship from the dock... que the Benny Hill music..... Not to worry they dispatched the alabama redneck who grabbed the stowaway and chucked over the side. ( note to self, never, never again "grab" a racoon, Holy shit!!! ) No time for pics though.
