They have a really good distillery tour, but the Dalmore tour was better. Rainy day when my buddy & I did that one so the tasting room was empty & the old gal running it that day let us taste pretty much everything she had open, including some 50 YO.

Makers Mark Gold. Instead of the red wax seal it's sealed with gold wax. It's only sold locally in and around Loretto, KY where it's distilled. To my understanding it isn't ever advertised or sold anywhere else. Is it expensive? What do you think? But expensive is a relative term. Some think it's only bourbon if it's distilled in Kentucky. Everything else is just whiskey. It sells out fast. The Red is good but the Gold ahh yes.

There is so much "good" stuff out there, and Stitzle supplies a lot of it for a lot of different folks and brands. Sits right near the Pappy whilst it's ricked up.

I love scoring a big bottle of Weller for $40. It is damn good stuff. At one point, I think I scored a bottle (totally randomly) on three straight trips to Pensacola.
