Chasers in Pcola got there barrel pick in, they are not advertising you have to ask
My buddy just went there to see if there were any Blantons left. The lady behind the counter said yes, while a guy said NO with some authority

Then my buddy asks about the eagle rare as his stock is getting a little low. The lady looks at my buddy and tells him to ask the guy that just said no

then the guy says he needs to talk to Eddie, which was not there. I’m assuming he’s the owner?? But anyways…figured I would share the info, maybe others may have better luck cracking the code

I would love to try a bottle of Blanton’s but I’m not going to jump thru hoops to get one. I would’ve told that smug liquor store manager to keep it.
There are lots of good, readily available bourbons out there.
I like George Dickel, Elijah Craig, Jefferson’s, Basil Hayden and several others. Been meaning to try Angel’s Envy and Larceny. Probably next on the list.
Is that Heaven Hill pretty good? I saw a bunch of that last week.
This time of year I like a little Evan Williams Egg Nog. Good stuff.
And I like a glass of Fireball after drinking beer at the beach all day. (Just FYI, I’m not driving)

Blantons and eagle rare are not difficult to find around here.

If you really want it the island liquor store at Pensacola beach normally has it- but about $15-20 high. Costco in Mobile normally has blantons around retail.

I like the 100+ proof bourbons.

I checked the island liquor last May and they had a bottle in their glass case. The price was $230.

Once upon a time I was a member of "The Bardstown Bourbon Society" which has since changed to "The Bardstown Whiskey Society".
Kentucky Bourbon needs to be at least 51% corn liquor and aged in a white oak barrel. True Kentucky Bourbon is distilled in Bourbon County Kentucky.

Now for an interesting taste diversion I recommend a little Double Cask Florida Bourbon from St. Augustine Distillery.
