I took a tour of the St. Augustine distillery yesterday and sampled some of their products. It was pretty good but kinda odd.
Everything was mixed. Never did get a taste of straight whiskey so I didn’t buy any.

This came out and was snatched out of the boxes before it ever got on the shelf, I don’t think you can expect to find these regularly on the shelf when you go in.

Got some nice bottles, but all they do is hold the good stuff. Noticed that only the Long Branch has been sampled? As much as I respect JB, it ain't a Bourbon County Kentucky Whiskey. GPA brought us youngins up on boiler makers. ( Beam straight and a draft chaser) Yet in days past the Kentucky Bourbon Society (nowadays the Whiskey Society) centered it's activities in Bourbon County Kentucky.
