    I gotta get in this.

My first Fathers Day gift (this year) was an xdM 9mm in 4.5", for this reason alone, hoping to be able to participate in such. Been building AR's for years hoping to be able to do something like this one day. I thought it was always on Saturdays....

HEY MIKE....you out there? Lets do this!!! One Sunday a month!

    Yeah! Bring Mike out.

I'd say you have pretty good gear to get you going. Hukdizzle shoots an XDM and does very well with it. Do keep in mind that we'll never shoot over 100 yards in the side match though, so most guys run red dots or irons.

I could shoot my 1-4x bushy or irons or even just use the pistol AR with the 1x Sparc. I just want to do more than punch holes in paper while resting on a bench. I know the factory supplied xdM gear isnt "ideal" but I'm sure it'd work in a pinch,....until I get addicted then its all gung-ho on all kinds of shit. geebush krist, what am I getting myself into.

Just ordered a matching red Warne 45* front mount

    Nice!
Agreed. Come over to the IDPA threads. We'll be glad to help you spend your money, but have a great time while doing it.

6.8spc version 2, a real scope! 3-9x40 Nikon Prostaff I acquired from Sawman. Nothing else to do to this one...well, other than a sling, and maybe a light source, and maybe.....awwww crap, never done.

    Never. Ever done!
Although, my LMT is feeling pretty good, but it could probably use a Tango Down stubby. Lol.

The start of another...would really like to make this a hunting rifle, leaning towards the 6.8 platform.
