Winchester model 1897 shotgun

I need someone to take a look at this model 1897 Winchester for me to see if they can put the barrel and magazine tube back on the reciever. A friend was messing with it and pulled it apart, now I can't get it together so that the slide works. It was my grandfathers gun and worked fine until now. Any help or pointers would really help. Thank you.

Kind of off topic but that is the first shot gun I ever saw. My uncle had it and I was only around 9 years old and we went hunting.
