Finished stripping the green paint from an SKS purchased here off the forum. Started refinishing anyways.
Stripped paint from the M16A4 I’ve had for sale here for awhile. Went great but if you’ve ever head to strip paint from picatinny rails you know my pain.

    Lastly, bought a FAL (finally).

You can use it on a 22 mag but I haven't seen any subsonic 22 mag ammo. My Dead Air Mask is rated for 22 lr, 22 mag, 17 hm2 and 17 hmr. It is rated for full auto. If the ammo isn't subsonic, you still get the "Crack" sound of the bullet breaking the sound barrier. You need to keep the rounds below 1100 fps to be subsonic. I use CCI standard velocity ammo which is rated at 1070 fps and it works great.
Yeah, I've never seen 22 mag sub. Ammo. Probably would not cycle in the CMR30 anyway.

This took place over the last 3 days. Since I've gotten back into the .303 British, I've been going through the cast bullets. Up to this point, I'd only been using that particular bullet in the M1889 Swiss, so I need more cast .303 on hand. Over the last 3 days, casting on and off, I've made 1,215 more 303 bullets. A hair under 34 pounds of them. Will probably do more while it's cool casting days. View attachment 114802

I ended up just dropping the can in pure CLR and put in the ultrasonic cleaner for 30 minutes. It came out perfectly clean. No need to do the toxic DIP.
I take it you have a gen II Sparrow. I have the gen 1 aluminum one, so harsh measures cannot be used.

Tackled getting the brick of the large rifle primers out of the heat distorted plastic trays. Tedious, but I got it done and with practice, 2 pairs of pliers and 1 dental pick and wearing safety glasses I got faster at it. Only lost 1 primer when it went flying to parts unknown.

Fired 50 rounds through my M1889 Swiss rifle. Demonstrated the multifunction design of its magazine to someone not familiar with it. (3 position lever: single shot, repeater, and remove the magazine)
