Do some research on it - I know it is Maxam from Spain. Dont' know exaclty which one we use at the factory. Don't know your needs either. So as always, read up on it until you can come to your own conclusions.

I work at a small local remanufactured ammo factory ( owner is a custom gunsmith; custom guns and ammo with 30 years of experience ).

He was in a terrible pinch unable to produce ammo for the business with the powder shortage and he was contacted by the commercial company he bought his industrial press from - and got hold of this powder, studied it, tested it and was satisfied enough to put his business and his name on the line.
We have had no complaints and I have shot it myself with no problems.

Very versatile and has kept us in business.

Glad this worked out for you. I've heard good things about the powder from a member on another forum. Somewhere, I have data on it, have to look it up.

I pulled this out of the internet - I cannot validate this data and I have not loaded this yet.
It is supposed to be from the Maxam site.
I suppose one wanting to confirm could contact the company directly.

I feel uncomfortable asking my employer the data he uses. Maxam CSB-5 Load Data.JPG

Reloaded 250 rounds of .40 S&W to replace what I shot yesterday. I'm getting back to enjoying this round especially now that I've reduced my loads to push 180 grain flat nose pills. Both pistol and carbine function well, accuracy improved and they are a pleasure to shoot.

Sold my bull barrel upper yesterday and picked up another upper and BCM ambi charging handle today.. Now Im ready to go back to the range to shoot it. I need to sell something small so I can change these Magpul handguards and my lower furniture to black Magpul.

Yesterday was my birthday and all I wanted was for John B to take me to the range...met some friends at Santa Rosa and spent about 4 hours on rifle, pistol and trap. Got to shoot a .45 with a can on it and decided right then and there that it was going to eventually find its way into our home! Then came home and had a glass of wine and cleaned all the guns while the boyfriend sat and watched football! Best birthday yet!

I finally got my Dillon setup and ready to go. I mixed up some homemade case lube and inspected a bunch of brass tonight. Ready to try it out for the first time tomorrow morning.

Shot an IDPA match at the Escambia River Gun Club. Had a rifle side match where i showed them what an AR with iron sights could do. :)

Happy Birthday CFO! I spent my last birthday shooting at JJs. I can't think of a better thing to do to celebrate.
