Sold my AR to a co-worker for exactly what it cost me to build my AR pistol. Lost a little bit of from what I was asking but got another guy into shooting a bit more. Educated him on a few different things and will be going shooting this weekend with him. And now he has an appointment to get his CCW next week!

Yes they both are. Vortex makes great optics and they all have lifetime no questions asked warranties. They have great customer service also.

Looks good Sir! What trigger is that? Also, make sure the front sight can take the heat or mount it on the handguard. Welcome to the club.

If bohica dosn't mind me jumping in: The trigger is an ALG ACT and I believe the front sight is metal, so it ought to be able stand the heat of the gas block.

Just had a normal day, spent about 30/40 min walking around my house with my gun belt on timing my draw, dry fire practice, and reloading. Anyone that think that the only place for improvement in shooting is on the range is dead wrong!

The front sight is metal and Tenn is correct about the trigger. I'm about to take the gas block back apart as I had FTF/FTE shooting for the first time and I believe it may not be perfectly aligned. I am also going to be comparing my loads against factory as mine failed to feed at all. All in all, not a very good first outing and to top things off, I couldn't even put them on paper at 50 yards.

Reloaded 60 test rounds of 45acp with Tula primers. Picked up 600 while I was in Dothan last week. I'll see how my Kahr CW45 and PT1911 like them this Friday.

I was up late (for me) last night polishing trigger parts. So tedious, but I know it will eventually pay off. The rest of my goodies should be delivered today. With a little luck, the project will be complete before I go to bed tonight. I'd love to be able to test fire it and figure out POI tomorrow afternoon.

What tools do you need to polish? Is there a good tutorial? My trigger on my AR pistol is pretty bad and have thought about trying to polish it. But I don't have the stuff im sure
