What gun stuff did you do today?

Picked up another Thermal Scope. The FLIR RS64 "Should" help knock down the critters.

Picked up a Savage Hog Hunter in 308 + 200 rounds of 147gr. fmj so I can get use to shooting it. Wanted something with iron sighs and the safety on the tang but after handling it(--WRONG I can live with the safety in front of the bolt and think I might get to where I like it there.--) I'm going to shoot it some before I make up my mind on swapping out the rear sight for a peep sight but pretty sure there's a peep sight in it's future as it's so much quicker to get on target and in the swamp that can make the difference between putting meat on the table and wondering where did it go

Edit: Lord knows I was exhausted yesterday the safety is on the tang while the bolt release is just behind the ejection port

I found an open gun I like, so I sent payment for it yesterday, then I found a couple 140mm mags for it yesterday evening. This morning I ordered a couple different types of bullets for it, 3 different types of powder, a thumb rest, and a holster insert.

Now I've got to find a 170mm mag, possibly another 140mm mag, and some reloading equipment for it. My gun fund has been hemorrhaging these past 2 days.

Picked up a vibratory brass cleaner from poppop and sold a mistreated bayonet and scabbard at the swap meet then came home and cleaned 300+ rounds of 9m and 7.62 x 25. Mostly 9mm as the CZ52 slings the brass so far it's hard to find. I need to put a shelter aka roof over my shooting area in the back field or better yet build a shooting house deer-stand combo on skids and pull it around back with my tractor

Went to Academy Sports in P-cola to buy a set of digital powder scales for myself and 3 kayaks for the wife and grandsons. Well the wife got the kayaks and I remembered an old friend asked me to check on some 270 Win in 130 gr. while I was there so I picked up 2 boxes of 130gr CoreLoc and forgot the scales I wanted. So I will be going back sometime in the near future to get what I want and only what I want.
