My poor truck, first time it was stuck in 9.5 years, and it was only down a couple of inches in the mud, just couldn't get any traction in that slick crap.

As Sean is approaching in the big forklift the mud is spraying out from the tires like it's running in water, but it was pure mud.

I won't be parking anywhere but on gravel today.

Looks like the cold front might have just passed through Pensacola, you guys are at 60 while we're still at 64 in Fort Walton Beach. The hourly forecast shows the current temps as highs for today, the temps will slow drop into the 50's as the day wears on. I have to work 6 hours today and then I'm packing the truck and heading North for 4 days of hunting in some cooler weather, can't wait to get on the road! Currently 55 two hours North of here where I hunt!

Gotta meet TennJeep at work today. I already warned him to NOT drive in past the parking lot. I may go ahead and drive the 514 up there in case I have to tow him back to Daphne.

Screw it! Mom Nature wins. Went to work, Rick and I stared at the mud a while and realized there isn't one single thing we can do. After succesfully negotiating the swamp back to pavement I am home for Netflix. Jeep, I'm only a mile away, I'll still meet you but if you find 90 not negotiable just call and we will reschedule.

Don't get home until Tuesday but I wish I was home already. These long trips are nice but once the holidays are winding down and everyone else is going back home or to work its kind of boring. I am going to be doning some new AR build shopping today looking for some sales. Already ordered a couple Geissele(sp?) Triggers from Primary Arms. Hopefully will get a few more parts.
