Leftists like to divide people in to groups, tell one group they are oppressed and tell the other group they are intolerant bigots if they disagree. This year, the protected class du jour was transgenders, because thank you Caitlyn Jenner.
Naturally, there’s been an arms-race to see who can pander the fastest. Leading the charge, of course, is New York City
New York City has warned landlords, employers and businesses they could be running afoul of the law by purposely calling a transgender woman “him” or “Mr.” when she prefers a female title and pronoun, or by barring her from using a women’s restroom.

3 more days of warm weather including today and then finally the cold weather arrives and will hopefully improve my luck hunting! Stormy day today, under a Tornado Watch until noon!

spent 4 hours on the phone with the Florida DMV trying to get a FL DL again...I became a resident when I was stationed there in 2009 but gave up my FL DL to get an AL license and they said I could get a FL license when I transfer but apparently that isn't true. Even though I still pay taxes I have to show residency in FL again. I just wanted a FL license so I could get a FL resident CCW so I don't have to have the hassle of doing the same thing again in SC. Annoying.

Just dropped Geico Auto today after having them for over 20 years due to them raising rates 150 per 6 months. We never had anything on our record either...

Oh well with USAA now. More Coverage and much Cheaper.

Age bracket change? USAA Will also send YOU a check when their books stay well into the black. Amount depends on what you pay in premiums, I get $250+-. I have been with them for over 30 years and my kids use them too.

Don't know what there age bracket would be but I will be 48 in April. USAA seems like a pretty good choice.

I need some help, GCGF. My wife's 30th birthday is next month and I'm trying to figure out where to go for a 3 day weekend trip. Would be best if within 4 or 5 hours since we'll be travelling on a Friday afternoon/evening. Ideally I'd like to find a hotel that has a spa and rooms with a garden tub and the city should have interested things to do.

    Go!

Biloxi should cover all that. Or new Orleans, you either love it or hate it.

I've been leaning towards New Orleans, even though I hate that city. I just priced a suite at the Waldorf. Ouch!

I need to look into Biloxi.
If you can get a day or two off work then I'd highly recommend going to the mountains this time of year. Pigeon forge, Gatlinburg, or Asheville are beautiful. Could do the Biltmore. Chicks dig that shit!

My family has a cabin about an hour from Asheville and we go up there for a week most every summer. I'm taking a Monday off, but that means travelling Friday night and back on Monday, which is why I'd like to keep it within 4 or 5 hours.

Then that kinda limits you to biloxi or NO. Beach places are kinda boring this time of year.

I took her to the Hilton Sandestin last year for her birthday. I'm looking to go somewhere different this year.

Yeah, I wish we could both take a week off around her birthday, but that's pretty much impossible with our jobs. We typically save our true vacations for the summer.

Casinos should provide spa stuff. Then a little drinking, gambling, music, or a show at night.
