Pretty much Jeep but this week it just seems like I need Friday to here now! This will be the first time in a month I've stayed home and relaxed on a weekend, been to the hunting camp the past 2 weekends and the weekend before that (Labor Day) was spent on the boat for 2 days so it's going to be nice relaxing this weekend!

Just noticed one of the screws on the face of a watch of mine is gone. Looked one up on eBay and they want almost $8 for it. Sons of bitches...but I got to have it.

Look around for a local watch repair place, they might have it cheaper since they have to buy them in bulk and have on hand for repairs.

They aren't real screws. They are purely for aesthetics and they just kind of twist in and lock in place. When the new one get here I'm going to put a drop of glue in the holes and then put the screws back in.

Don't think I'll be doing much work today either. Going to go search for a leather holster for my shield in a while and that's about it.

I'm picking up my new work truck today. We are doing a lot of changes at work so my old truck got passed on. In the meantime I used my personal truck the last few weeks. 2004 Silverado, less than 50K, almost showroom flawless. Till Tuesday.

I cannot effing believe what I did. There is never a week that goes by without me hauling trailers. Everything from my 5x10, to 18' lowboys, to our Toter home spanning 70'. I've had to put 30k pounds of Caterpillar product into places I wouldnt try walking through. Never, in all my decades have I ever had a problem. Zero damage.

Until Tuesday. Jack knifed my tiny little 5x10 and wiped out the left side of my bed. So, next week it's off to the body shop. While it's in I'm going to pay extra to have a few more things done, mega detailing, headlight restoration, new tailights, stuff like that. When it's finished I'm bringing the effing thing home, park it in the yard, build a fort around it and hide the keys.

Yessir, champaign gold metallic. From two decades in the auto paint business I can guarantee you it's going to be impossible to color match perfectly. Just blend, buff and hope for the best.

Desantos Cozy Partner is what I carry my Shield in. I don't even know it is there.

I saw you last Friday pulling out of the airport. Sometime between 3:30 and 4, I think?
