Heard from somebody that Sago Palm seeds are poisonous to dogs. Don't know if that's true but might be worth researching if you have both.

Frank it sure didn't rain much at Parish Point yesterday, the orange float in my rain gauge didn't even move! Looks like we have a better chance of rain today, we'll see!

A friend of mine was doing landscaping at his house and trimmed up some Sagos. His dog got into the pile and chewed up some of the debris. Dead 48 hours later.

Viking, we've gotten a lot of rain here and it looks like more on the way. You live in one of the Twilight Zone holes where all precip seems to avoid you. It's your year in the box, next year it'll shift East or West a couple of miles.

Sure hope so Frank, been watching it on the radar and it's definitely spotty. Rain chances are good through tonight so hopefully it rains on and off all day. A cloudy rainy day like that will do wonders for my yard and newly planted Sago and Blueberries!

If you're on the West side of Waterford we're very close. Great guess Frank, my son's answer when I asked him to check the gauge was between 1/4" and 1/2", good enough I can leave my sprinklers off for another couple of days!

I have the cheap one from Tractor Supply, it's about 18" long and has big numbers on it you can see from a window of the house. Sooner or later I want to get one of those ones you can check online and they empty automatically! I have a feeling we'll get more rain later this evening or tonight sometime.
