Should have used the word - cheap.
Russians got it right with the original tough as nails all steel 10 round nondetachable SKS 762x39 mag. I've seen them beat to smithereens in the Chinese and Romanian military service rifles and still keep working 50-60 years later. I wish a modern manufacturer would make a modern rifle to use the same SKS mag and stripper clips. You'd think with the massive loyal following 762x39 and the SKS have had in America (the largest richest firearm market in the world) ever since the 1990's that somebody would have copied that 10 round mag with a stripper clip guide in a new production rifle

Stay away from the pro mags, both won't lock in. Im sure I can tinker with them and get them to work, maybe.
Got my lee .311 case sizer/decapper ( actually a brit 303 sizer) Lee part# SE2358. Got 3 so if someone else needs one.

What 7.62x39 bullets are you looking for? 123-125gr fmj, soft point, plastic tip expanding? Do you still visit Sawman? Perhaps I could drop something off there for you to pick up.

I could spare a few LR primers but I’m in Baker and that’s a lot of miles from you for just a sleeve of primers

Thank you. Want to work up a good hunting load. I haven't been to bills lately. Fixing to go back to the boat. I saw some missouri bullet co. That looked good, but flat points. 135gr hi tec coated.

The more I read about .311 diameter bullets, the werider it gets.... 7.7 arisaka, british 303, 7.62x54r, 7.62x39, 30-30, 32 pistols (some) and one or two others I lost track, all use the same bullet. (.311) (Diffrent weights) Holy crap. Trying to side door some projectiles to order for my project. Crazy huh?

Checked 0. On at 100 yards. 154gr sp. Testing on deer starting Sat. Am. Mags....10rd ruger.... 30 rd usa worked great. Had a problem with the 10rd but it's brand new. Only happened once. Bolt needs to be worked with authority, no slow sliding. Mags have to be inserted well properly. Wish that USA was a 20rd.
