I guess it's about average Bill. Maybe a little bigger than Robertsdale but different vendors.

There is a Waffle House just up the road. I owe you lunch.

Milton is July 15-16

Were the northern gun shows much different than the southern ones John?

The ones I went to were pretty small but not really different.

Thinking back, there did seem to be a ton more of lever actions, especially .30-30s, and Winchesters of all kinds. Not so many 30-30s in North Dakota. More big magnums. Anchorage seemed pretty average as far a guns went.

A gun show is a gun show is a gun show. There were some different vendors there. Some old guys with private sales that were 40% too high like a used Remington 1100 for $650. I did not look at anything else on his table. Some dealers with decent prices, some at MSRP, some higher. Alabama Ammo was there with real prices on bullets, powder, primers, and their reloads.
Powders were $19.95 to $24.95 and several 8 lb. canisters for $170 something. I was reaching for 8 lb. of 4064 and some dude was faster than I was. I have enough to get by anyway.

If I remember correctly their reloads were $15/50 9mm and $20/50 for .45 ACP.

Those powder prices at the show are damn cheap. Most over here are $30+. --- SAWMAN
