Can Cannon is now a NFA SBR or AOW when mounted on a rifle or pistol lower.

BATFE is at it again. Company has been selling these for a year, fires blanks which gasses launch a soda type can or tennis balls. Keep an eye on your flare launchers!
Company is trying to come up with an acceptable fix in the next six months. If mounted to a rifle lower its a SBR. If mounted to a pistol lower its a AOW. HOW CAN THIS BE WHEN THE STANDARDS ARE SO DIFFERENT? They should have called it a BFA wet marking device or dog training device instead of "cannon". Got BATFE Ltr link. Shows their positions. There is also NEW boiler plate info at the end of the letter. It basically says this ltr applies only to subj item as presented in totality and may not be used for other like applications. They are eliminating using John Doe's approval ltr to configure your XXX.
