Anyone get out today in the drizzle?

I went out for squirrels with the .410. I'd been seeing them all day in town, on power lines, fences, crossing roads, etc. So, I get out in the woods later, and there was not a squirrel in sight.
I did spook a big doe with 2 young'uns, one looking like it was just out of spots, and the other probably a year older.
Anybody have any better luck?

Been out since Nov 1. That was the first day of muzzleloading in Virginia. Lots of wind and some rain. Going to be a crazy morning to. The cold snap had the bucks running, then it got hot. Had 10 year old grandson out. He finally got a 4 point the first day. Had 3 good rack bucks get away from him. When you are learning you make mistakes. That is how we learn. He was happy and excited and that is all that matters. Been taking him with crossbow and flintlock since he was 5. Lots of fun together.

Yes,I went to Blackwater.This week nothing but doe's with spoted fawns.They all walked.
