130 years is a drop in the bucket compared to "might is right" and "survival of the fittest" for the last 6,000 years. China hasn't been around for well over a thousand years because they were defending other people's borders. No they were defending their own borders and they let the rest of the world go to hell while they built the Great Wall of China and got fat
Ok buddy, the romans totally didnt rely on the foederati (and actively defended their borders in a symbiotic relationship) to prevent migratory hordes from destroying them 2000 years ago.

Whatever you wanna believe, like i said.

And look what happened to the Romans hundreds of years ago and China is still here

Trolls are energy parasites who became narcissist from past abuse or lack of love and from time to time even subversion agents on the internet with sock-puppet accounts. They want your energy. They get a kick of controlling your response because they lack con-troll of their own lives. So unless you want a troll living in your mind rent free, ignore them. Respond to someone else and the troll will eat a peanut butter and jealous sandwich. They’ll slither back to a hole feeling empty.

You know that China today isnt the same as China even 80 years ago, right?

    Italy exists today as well.

Im not sure of your point…
China is going to eat us for lunch. Rome doesn't exist anymore. What else is there to know?

Oh by the way thats about 1,000 SKS's in this picture of modern-day China... that are ALL in 7.62x39 caliber. There's 100,000+ more SKS service rifles chambered in 7.62x39 on duty with China right now too

You posted way more than i was willing to read, and I assume it is full of nonsensical and irrelevant info. I dont want anyone censored, but your comment seemed pretty antisemitic, which violates rule 3. Thats the admins decision though.

This comment violates the cursing rule @TexKev

You can just be polite, i dont think its that hard. Sorry
I guess ignorance is bliss. First of all, the term "Semites" refers to speakers of one of the Semitic languages, which are Arabic, Aramaic, and Hebrew. You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone named in any of my comments that speak one of those languages, or who are even descendants of those who did.

This is because "Semites" are largely Middle Eastern/Northeast African... think olive to dark skin... Palestinians are a pretty good archetype of a "Semite". If someone is clearly of European descent, they might not be a "Semite", and maybe you should ask why they claim to be.

I could go on forever, but I will mention this: One of my longest running best-friends is "Jewish", though his family is European in appearance. One of the most upstanding families I know. His father was an FAA Medical Examiner, and a damned good pilot. His mother was head of critical-care nursing at a major hospital. His sister was a critical-care nurse at a major hospital. His brother was going to med school in the Caribbean until the school got shut down, got discouraged, and is now a supervisory A&P mechanic. My friend? The "black sheep" who now drives OTR with his own Class A tractor.

My friend, his brother, and his father can maintain any type of equipment, and do so with their own hands, up to including swapping and rebuilding engines in the big truck, rebuilding their 100kw generator, maintaining their boats, etc. at home.

My favorite employer of all time, and probably smartest person I ever worked for (OK, maybe a tie) was a Cuban Jew... and a Semite who had the appearance of a high-yellow Egyptian Pharaoh. If his surname is not in the Bible, it could be: Elkayam. He was a Propulsion Engineer who started his own repair business after being laid off from Eastern Air lines. I went into the shop in the mid-80s and, since I didn't have any experience doing machine work on commercial jet engine components, started @ $4.50/hr. I left 1-1/2 years later @ $18/hr.!

Lastly, my first wife, who was "half-Jewish". Her mother was German Christian, and her father (a "Khazar", by appearance) was a Polish Jew who was born prior to WWII. I put "half-Jewish" in quotes, because some Jews say, to be a Jew, you must be born of a Jewish mother (and where would that leave all the "Khazars", whose ancestors converted to Judaism 1,000 years ago?)

Having said all that, the mere fact that someone guilty of the most vile crimes exclaims "But I'm Jewish!" will never cow me from criticizing them! And why should it?

we have some of the strongest militaries in the world allied with us.
Do you mean like in Afghanistan, where sandal-wearing goat-herders whose most sophisticated piece of military equipment was the Toyota pickup defeated us in a TWENTY-YEAR WAR?!?

I mean, this is flatly false lol, you believe what you want tho.

Crazy that the massive russian military cant stomp out (and is being continually pushed back) an insurgency of irregulars with todays technology and ukraines flat and sparse geography.
You forgot to mention the $100 BILLION in U.S weaponry in ONE YEAR. And let's play that game... imagine someone saying THIS in 2003:

"Crazy that the massive combined U.S. and NATO militaries cant stomp out (and is being continually pushed back) an insurgency of irregulars with todays technology and Afghanistan's mostly flat and sparse geography... literally a 'desert country' with hardly a tree to hide behind."

And did I mention that the Taliban was NOT given the $80 BILLION in military equipment until AFTER our defeat?

It hasnt changed the fundamentals of national defense theory, no.

The idea is still to destabilize before overt combat, to rout rather than kill, and to intercept before they reach your borders. This is old news, from a “Mr. Mississippi Troll”, or whatever it is y’all think I am.
Understood but you can’t tell me that technology hasn’t changed nearly everything about warfare in the past 130 years.

You have to realize that the threat of nato on the Russian border is a lot of what caused this mess. Right?

I’m pretty sure you’re the same guy,but im glad you’re back! Maybe, maybe not but “you do you”

Youve never been to afghanistan and it shows lol.

Let the ukrainians have all the old gear they want. We’re literally retiring the M1sep2 this year ‍♂️

Idk who you think I am, but okay.

100% though technology has dramatically changed combat just in the past 20 years even, but strategic concepts of national defense remain unchanged.

Oh, we've already established that you don't like to read... it's obvious from your comments, as well. Or maybe you're just a liar.
I dont read silly stuff thats way longer than necessary, its usually filled with information that doesnt even pertain to the discussion at hand, like “one of the good ones” fallacies to justify not so subtle antisemitism

Is that really accurate though? We withdrew due to public condemnation and a waining interest in fighting someone else’s war for them. The ANA failed at every level, the ukrainians are unbelievably competent and fighting, and are making good use of our equipment.

The taliban got smacked around for 20 years and only managed to win after their sole enemy was a bunch of illiterate and undisciplined drug addicts.
