I thought it was alright. Kind of disappointed that the snack bar did not have candy bars. The main reason I go. LOL ha ha ha Yea not bad paying 8 dollars to get in and another buck for a candy bar. :) I ended up with a soda.

I liked visiting everyone. Talked to the guy up front with the WWII toys we talked about his buddy I talk to all the time and buy Military stuff from. Everything he had for sale I already owned.

Talked to Chuck they always have a booth right on the right as you walk in. Good friend of mine from Crestview.

Visited Nate and JJ. Always enjoy there company.

Talked to Jay (Jays Guns) We discussed what full autos he has avab right now.

Almost bought one of them Brace thingy's that you lock your Glock into... My main concern is if I install my Glock 17, 19, 21 etc... and I have a threaded barrel is there enough clearance to screw on the suppressor. I guess I would have to bring a Glock in and give it a try.

I'm a suppressor snob and don't shoot much without one.

You get very spoiled shooting high end air guns all the time.

I was there shortly after opening. I don't know many of you on sight but I was wearing a black t-shirt with Bill and Hillary on it and the saying "They Can't Suicide us All". I bought a marlin papoose take down rifle that was in very nice condition, worked a deal with an older gentleman on 8 pounds of powder, and bought a duck call for my collection. Handled a couple of 1st gen Colt SAA's but didn't purchase one. I really liked that the show had many more private sellers than the shows that North Florida Shows puts on. I may even get a table at it next year if I know ahead of time when it is going to be held.

I spent the whole morning there. No masks needed. Found a dozen or so great deals on milsurp stuff. Was able to build a black set of deuce gear from 3 seperate vendors tables for $25 total! A black 5:11 padded MOLLE pistol belt, a black Blackhawk H-harness and some black Bianchi nylon QD pistol mag pouches... $25, and 100% serviceable and not even faded! Same table that had the black Bianchi double mag pouches had tri-color woodland double mag pouches and I snapped those up, too. A couple tables had 8mm Mauser stripper clips and I got every single one of them! Found a Korean War era E-tool pouch in the bottom of a "Everything is $5" Rubbermaid bin on the west side of the building, and just before leaving, I found a matching E-tool on the east side of the building! I was like "wow, what are the chances?!". On another table I bought an M9 bayonet sheath (with the sharpening stone and straps and snaps and kangaroo pouch all present and accounted for) for only $8! I bought a couple other things, too. I had a great time. Some rare items I saw was a 303 Enfield that had been rebarreled into 45-70 (in great shape for like $800), an all original Egyptian 8mm FN49 for $1200 and a couple of Camp9 carbines.
if you are trying to build a black LBE i have a couple items...black butt pack and a couple other things. i might still have a black bianchi holster for the m9

Yes this is why its my fav show. Really wanted to say hello to Nate and JJ but could not get there today. The gentleman who owns/owned Casey's Nursery (forget his name) is usually there as a seller and he is super cool also. He is a large man, always wears a white cowboy hat.

I spent a couple of hours there this afternoon and had a great time.
I talked with Nate and JJ a little while.
JJ helped me out with a rifle I was considering.
Met another forum member who was a seller. Very nice guy. Came awfully close to buying a rifle from him but I also had my eye on a Super Blackhawk and the Blackhawk won out simply because I’ve always wanted one.
I bought a cool old Herter’s hunting knife for $10.
There wasn’t a big crowd there which is fine with me.
Saw several pre-64 Win 94s but none in exceptional condition.
Jay’s had a beautiful Browning Medalist in the presentation box for $1500.
One guy had a nice Colt Officers Model Match .22 for $1500.
I saw several interesting Colts and Smith & Wessons.
There were plenty of things there that got my attention.
    I enjoyed the show.

Was not able to make it to that but thanks for that little report.. I have lusted from afar on those 45-70 Enfields.. Just a fun gun to shoot. The ones I had shot were always having issues with the magazines. Sometimes they would feed 2 rounds, Sometimes up to 4. It has a great barrel profile ..

I went to the show yesterday, met and talked to several forum members who had tables there. It was a good experience. Good show. I will definitely go back.

Something interesting that I noticed was that in a lot of cases the prices on used guns were Cheaper than on our own forums, and the dealers would actually "deal." It's crazy, some of the prices being asked on here. Just saying.

What I like about this show is that, other than Jay’s, it’s mostly used guns and private sellers.
New guns just don’t interest me anymore. I’m looking for guns that I drooled over 40 years ago.
Same here, the last four that I've bought have been used.....Ruger MK 11, MK III, & 2 Vaquero's.

I bought a Super Blackhawk yesterday that I’ve been wanting since the ‘70s.
Yeh, I’m kind of a procrastinator.
When I was in college several of my buddies in Panama City went down and bought Super Blackhawks. They were working full-time, not going to school.
What little money I had went for books and tuition so no Blackhawk for me.
    I always said “one day”.
I don’t have a use in the world for it but yesterday was the day and it was made in the ‘70s.
The 3 guys behind the seller’s table were great guys and I enjoyed talking to them.
