Currently 85 degrees out with a heat index of 96, oh and it's only 7:11 in the morning, going to be a hot one again today. Sure wish we'd get some storms to cool it down some.

I think I'm gonna take the weekend off to recharge. It doesn't feel too bad here right now but it will get brutal later.

I'm taking the boys up to the hunting camp West of Georgiana this weekend and the forecast is for a high near 100 everyday with a 50% or better chance of rain, hopefully we'll get some showers and cool it down some.

It was 83 at 0430 this morning. I went out at 0600 and mowed the front yard with my trusty push mower, took 2 hours. I think I'll wait a little later to do the back and the neighbor lady's yard. It really doesn't need to be this hot, serves no purpose.

Today has felt like a bucket full of Mondays. Nothing but problems at work since 5:45am and I've felt like I am gonna puke since about 9:30. I just want this day to end.

I actually had a bit of comic relief earlier today. A buddy and I rode down to the empty field behind the airport to lay out markers for the new storage buildings. We're in his truck and park about dead center of that 15 acres of wide open grass. We talked a second, then got out and started measuring distances to property lines and such. About 45 seconds into it I just happened to look south and see his truck slowly driving in a perfectly straight line for the swamp. He apparently never put it into park and it took a few seconds for idle to overcome the tall grass. He took off in a very impressive run, got in and hit the brake literally 10' from the edge of the mud. It was hilarious watching him beat feet. I may enter him in one of those marathons against Ian. I'll just put his truck in front of the pack, throw it in gear and give it a block head start.

I wish this site wouldn't log me off so quickly for inactivity. It's gotten to where after reading a long post on a page of long posts (I'm set at 20 per page), I will now refresh the page before reading the next post if it's also a long one so I don't get logged-off. I don't have this issue with any of the other forums I visit.hwell:

I don't know if it's the OS, something to do with cookies, etc... But as said don't have the issue at other sites.

I had to log back in to post this. After posting the above I watched the preacher lady hanging scene on Hell on Wheels, maybe 10 minutes time, then clicked New Posts and was logged-out. Before logging back on I checked my profile and saw I was last active at 6:35, my post above is time stamped 6:33, sooo...
