      favorite deer/hog caliber?

      i will start for hunting under 200 yrds i like using my 30-30 with 140 gr. monoflex and for anything passed that i like using my 338 win mag with 200 gr. ballistic silivertip.

      well i dont have a pic but i got a spike today with the 223. i shot it through the shoulder and it piled up at about 30 yrds

      i had a buddy up in fairbanks that always moose hunted with a .35 whelen he always brought home the steaks with that gun it is a great round.

      thanks for the advice. i will be shooting 55gr barnes triple shocks. and will be aiming for the ear on hog and neck for deer. i will try to put up pic if i have any luck. thanks again
