      Glock 42 Opinion Poll

Got it: Glock fanboys. And I agree on better options. I see on Gunbroker a G42 at $544 current bidding. Incredible for what that could also buy. But if you can add variety to your collection, a good .380 (I have a CZ 83) offers extra fun to your shooting options. But dropping $500 on one is just...

      Glock 42 Opinion Poll

What's a "fanboy"? Curious cause I enjoy shooting and carrying a .380. I also pack a 9 and .45 on occasion, and my wife prefers her .40. Didn't know you could stereotype a person based on the weapon they prefer. You pickin up what I'm putting down?

      Glock 42 Officially Unveiled

So Glock is going to offer a small single stack .380 (Glock 42). I like this caliber and own a CZ83 and Taurus PT 738 pocket pistol chambered in .380 (I love my CZ 83). However, one is always reading how you need to be carrying .45 or 9mm+P for adequate personal defense, or you might as well...

Does new Glock in .380 add credence to caliber's effectiveness for personal defense?

      CZ P-09 Duty

Check out the CZ 75 BD; SA/DA w/ decocker. It's all-steel, not polymer like the Duty. Great weight, feel and an incredible firearm.

      Budget 1911s

Perhaps too late to chime in, but if talk is on "budget" .45s, check out the Turkish Tisas from Bud's Gun Shop. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=Tisas&x=24&y=11

WTB: Just Right Carbine in 9mm

Well that sucks. JRC said they are working on a six week back order with suppliers and while they are making weekly shipments, he expects those weapons are already spoken for. Have you considered the KelTec Sub 2000? A reputable weapon that takes Glock clips. Though I expect supply is as scarce...

WTB: Just Right Carbine in 9mm

Join the club... I would say sit tight and don't pull the trigger on any of these opportunists seeking twice their value (saw one today listed for $1,300!). I inquired to ldb supply the manufacturer (I'm seeking a 9mm) and someone in customer service responded saying: Just Right Carbines...
