Years ago I bought a streamlight (Don’t remember which model) but it didn’t fit well on my 40 or my 29....I ended up mounting and it on a Ruger P95 where it actually fit pretty well. Let me figure out tomorrow which model it is and I’ll send you another message if you’re interested in a trade...

do you know if the included mounting plate would work on a gen 4 40?

The plate slides in where the rear sight is....I used it on a gen 4 glock 19. I think the sights are the same so it should work.
