Thru my usual ventures I come across some neat old stuff. Came across the browning hi power from world war 2. All matching with a 43 dated holster. Best part is the paperwork matching the serial number of the gun. I'm not totally up on brownings from the war but I believe this is late war. I fired it a few times and shot like a dream. I had a few offers in the past on it but not sure the full value of it.

That's a keeper, family heirloom! Mines a loose clone, DA98 but it just shoots. I'd absolutely love an original, just too frugal at this point in my life; he says after dropping $1600 in an HK

That is badass! Many of the capture papers don’t have serial numbers on them, so it’s hard to truly establish provenance on an item.

Hi Power, my favorite 9mm! Ditch the mag safety and get a pro trigger job and they're a joy to shoot.

That is a very nice package there. I can't tell how the finish really is with the Hi-Power but having the matching holster and certificate makes that a rarity. Make that a family heirloom if you can. If you have to sell it, don't get low balled.
