    I figured it would keep me in check as far as being legal for hunting. The design of the gun is weird.... There isn't a plug in it and you can't put one in it. It's hard to explain.

    imp cyl is ideal for quail but dove generally fly higher limiting your chances for a effective shot, but still can shoot buckshot / slug / effectivlly too.

    I'm guessing it was designed for skeet since it only holds 2 in the tube and one in the chamber.

    Many shotguns are made that the magazine only holds two. Nothing to do with skeet shooting.

    CYL or IMP CYL are fine for quail or opening day doves.
