    Anybody know ? They used to put on some really good shows at the temple on 9 mile road. I don't guess they've had one in 20 years.
    I'm guessing liability maybe ?

    I have wondered the same thing, they were better shows, less commercial, but it was 20 years ago, when time were much simpler.

    Back in the 80's, I used to always have a table at the Shrine show. Then, Escambia County started coming by and demanding that non dealers buy a county business license. Trying to explain to them that doing so would then require us to also get an FFL was an exercise in futility. It kind of went downhill from there. Then, when the Shriner who ramrodded the shows died, it just kind of went away. At least, that's how I remember it.

    I remember going there about 20 years ago also. Things did seem better back then.
