After listening to FrankT rant and rave about those 6.8 spcII 's I finally got a couple and tried them out yesterday, I believe I do like them alot.

Yup, that's what I ended up with. I had a SR9 that I liked but sold it because I thought I needed something else. Being familiar with the SR9 platform, I decided to get another but this time in 45acp. I'll be picking it up from Kenny's Gun Room sometime tomorrow.

Yea Frank, I swapped uppers with a member awhile ago (PSA) and it shoots good, and then bought a Stag upper/DTI lower that shoots great. Seems like a great round.

RR, That Stag 5H was my first 6.8, I think it is still around here being shot by a forum member...very accurate. I have not tried the PSA product.

I got a pretty good mix of ammo, ordered a case of the 9.99 boxes from midway, I believe, and got a few with the rifle. I would use it to hunt certain types of swine if need be, or deer and hogs if I ever get the time to do so. they were banging the 8" gong at 125 yds consistently.

I bought 10 boxes 6.8 and 5 of 556 SSA ammo today, they had it for $5 a box and it took 45 minutes with their server crashing to order it. Shooters Pro Shop
lol.
My biggest hangup is that I've got 7-800 rounds of handloads for it that will be useless if I sell it. Maybe I need to get some help shooting all of it this weekend.
