Jeff is already missing "Jungle Ready". She's been with us a while....didn't we pay you to take her. Glad she found a good home.

Since my having a simple surgery yesterday, I did not do much of anything gun related. My wife and I were out running around today to buy her some new jeans. We hit a few stores, including Academy. BTW, their .223/5.56 ammo inventory sucks. While in there, I recalled a brainstorm I had a little while back. I wanted a tackle box to store my misc. gun parts. That said, I bought a nice four-drawer box made by PLANO. Now, all of my small misc. gun parts reside in my new tackle box. Since I have some more small parts on order, I will have the perfect place for them. No more cardboard box with everything in plastic bags. I love being organized.

I also did the tackle box for my gun cleaning stuff and misc. tools (punches, picks, etc) helps keep everything a little more organized. The wally world on 29 had plenty of 556 and also had quite a few of the $29 100/rd box of federal 45acp. Just sayin

That's a good idea, I have a small tackle box I'm going to go dig out tomorrow and take everything out of ziploc bags.

Old prescription bottles work good to for spare parts like springs, pins, etc.

    Had a busy day today.

Got up and did a 2 mile fun run downtown with my wife, then I came back, loaded up and ran to the FOP range for a few minutes to chrono some new loads. The 9mm loaded w/ federal primers worked well in my 75B, but I didn't have any luck with 45ACP. I loaded up 4 different loads to try and meet power factor, unfortunately none of them did. So this afternoon, I cut the grass, loaded 400 rounds of 9mm (since my Dillon was already setup and mounted to the bench), then I swapped over to my Lee turret press and cranked out 3 new loads of 45ACP to test soon (tomorrow, if the weather cooperates). After all that was done, I took a suggestion from Dan1612 and added some more red to my comp AR. I'll work on getting some better photos soon.

    ^^^It's soooo fancy...
My vortex 3x magn came in yesterday, resighted the rifle at 50 yds. Definitely makes a huge difference. Glass is great, not sure how it compares to the g33 but works great behind my 512. Eye relief is a little short, dropped my mbuis to move it back more. We'll see how it does in a match...or how I do anyway.

My AC has crapped out... so I might shoot myself in the foot so I can sleep in an air conditioned hospital room. I guess that counts as gun stuff? Lol.
