I don't really want to use anything that coarse, i am going to order a rubberized kit from eBay or the kit they sell on PRP.
I've been waiting for the prp grips to come back in stock myself. Have you looked at the pachmayr grip, I have one on my xds.

Yea I looked at those too, looking at all the pictures make it look like they add a bit of girth to the grip so I don't think I'd like that too much.

It does, not a problem with the xds, but I'm sure it would be with the xd. Now we wait for the jokes about girth...

I played a lot of speedball growing up. I still have my old school bob long timmy around here somewhere. I looked up places to play around here but couldn't really find anything.

I never played in any stuff like that but we used to play in the woods with a few guys in Idaho, the winters were awesome until the paintballs started freezing, lots of busted knuckles during those games, I had a cheapo gun but tossed it a couple years ago.

You will find that scope to be fun. I loved when I had mine.
$160 bucks on Amazon... I walked outside right at the end of legal shooting light and could actually see better with the Weaver than I could with my Zeiss Terra on my .308

I'll only be using it for the range, and deer/hogs at less than 65-70 yards... figure it'd be a nice change up in some of my bow spots.

    Sent from my Galaxy S5....

Note to self, do not spray polly on a wood stock without climate control in the shop when it is cold and pouring down rain....... It does not even dry to the point that Acetone will not just wipe the polly off with a wet rag. Just maybe did not maybe work out. Patience, patience, patience.

I made it out to the SRSC this morning about 9:45. Brrrrrr. At the time, I was the only one that had shown up to shoot. About 10:00, another brave soul showed up to shoot too. I took out the latest RECCE and my XM607. Man, I love this XM607. At 25 yards, 40 rounds, headshots, 37 in and three strays. Not bad for me shooting a 10" SBR with iron sights standing. Also, what a fireball this thing throws out. The RECCE is also a great rifle to shoot. The Compass Lake Eng./Douglas 16" RECON SS barrel (.223 Wylde chamber, 1/8 twist) is great. At 100 yards, it was holding about 1MOA. I could probably have done better, but I was in a hurry to get done because of the weather. My fingers were starting to hurt from the cold.

I sold the UBR on my FDE AR a couple weeks ago because it was heavy on an otherwise lightweight build. I tried a MFT Minimalist stock, but the color didn't match enough for my liking. I got a Larue RAT stock in today, and I'm very pleased with the color. The stock seems pretty nice, definitely easier to install than a lot of others I've tried. It's slightly loose on the buffer tube, but not terribly so.

I really like my R.A.T. stock. LaRue's A-PEG grip is very nice as well. One of the best grips I have ever used.
