Transporting / Shipping Hog Meat from FL to PA???

Anyone know good way to ship hog meat? Took my bro-in-law down to Perry and busted one, we'd like to send it with him on Delta flight or through the mail - was hoping someone on forum would have done this before and could pass on lessons learned. Thanks y'all!

yeah there are meat shipping container like you get the steaks in. Freeze the meat, place in the container, add sealed dry ice pac and expedite shipping. If you are close I do have 1 reg size steak container saved here.

An alternative is an ice chest the size you need and do the same, seal with duct tape, label and ship.

There are restrictions on dry ice and airplanes. Be sure and check the rules on your planned carrier.

Some of the larger seafood places will pack to ship or take on a plane as a convenience for tourists - might check one of them out and see if they will sell just the packaging
