If it could only talk. A great addition to any WW2 collection. This rifle was hand picked by me from three crates of arsenal refurbished imports a few years ago. It's all original since factory refurbishment, factory matching numbers and finish. It was made in 1931 at the Izhevsk Arsenal, so it's a pre-war WW2 rifle with better metal finish and sits in a correct pre-war stock. The stock has interesting figure and is a classic reddish color shelac. It has a hex receiver and very clear barrel stamps. Things were not so "rushed" before WW2. It is import stamped on the left side of the receiver. Chambering is of course 7.62 x 54r. The barrel has good rifling and it is counter-bored to improve accuracy. It comes with a matching number bayonet that needs more fitting (very common in arsenal refurbished rifles) and standard dog-collar sling. I am selling to help fund another project. PM me for more info or to make contact for purchase. Will use the bill-of-sale found in this forum. You must be legally able to own this piece of history. Thank you for looking.
