See a lot of posts about people bringing their own steels.
    Never been, thinking about joining.
Are there stands to bring own steel? Is there a place to pin paper targets?
Not seeing any pictures posted in the other thread about pics at the range.

They have a few stands to put 1x2 sticks in for your paper targets. They don't have any stands for you to mount steel targets. A couple pistol/short range bays have steel plate racks and the longer ranges have steel targets past 100yds.

I got this kit from yankee thunder. It was only $99. I bought $30 worth of 1" metal electrical conduit for the legs and cross brace and that's it. I'm pretty happy with the way it looks and sets up. I haven't gotten a chance to get it out to the range yet. Here's a pics of if setup in my garage. I've always brought my own target stands to ERGC. I just make them custom for what style I like to shoot.

The stands they rent are kinda bobo. That's why I suggest making your own that suit your needs and shooting style. I made my cardboard and wood targets large enough to hold 4 paper targets so I wasn't constantly having to go out and put up new targets.

I don't want a range day to turn into work. Just go and make some noise and go home. Backpack full of goodies or a double rifle case is all I want to deal with. Supposed to be fun.

My setup takes all of about 2 minutes to setup if that. Check out the link I posted above. It's actually super easy and doesn't require any tools. It's all self supported through angles and gravity. I also have some PVC stands I made that are very modular and setup in mere seconds. I could show pics of them if you're interested.

Jabs steel makes some great stuff. My steel silhouette target and stand is similar to these and easy/quick to setup. Google may show some cheaper options though.

I am going to have to get some of these.

I have a stand I made out of 2 2x4x8 and put furring strips on it. My other stands are metal for furring strips.

I save amazon packages - but looking for plastic to put on them.

Splatter targets or a spotting scope are great additions

ERGC Has one of these resetting plate racks on range 3 and two of them on range 5 for pistols. The Rifle ranges have steel plates in the back berm. - Request shooters not use green tip ammo because it dents the plates.
