Interesting, I wonder why that would be. From what I was aware it only interacts with the roller system, not the receiver itself. It does change the delay speed on the unlocking of the rollers, so maybe it creates extra pressure against the receiver?

That is correct. Rollers beat up the receiver over time. Some guys say it will kill it immediately, some say 10s of thousands of rounds.

Huh. I've probably put about 500 or so through mine since I got that all set up, and no issues so far. If I ever get to 10K plus we probably hit the end of the world. o_O

I figured that I should break the ice in this section with a picture thread. Let us see your NFA toys! I've got three more coming -- but for now... My HK family:

Outstanding! Had a USC/UMP clone, not SBR though, with everything to convert to .40
Sold it back in '09 to pay my son's tuition that semester. I made him hold it and look real close and said "one day when you're successful, I want this back!" I got grandkids instead...

One of my form 1 can builds, with an 8" titanium tube that I anodized.
I was reading about anodizing titanium with five 9v batteries hooked up in series, baking soda mixed in distilled water, in a tall pitcher and an aluminum strip. An example of what can be done with titanium.. Gave it a tie dye blue look.

P17 with short configuration. 22 switchback. Just enough to take the crack off hv ammunition. View attachment 502976
I just picked one of these up and got it out of Jail! Something about turning the baffles around for longer barrels? I need to read up on that. I have that same pistol in tan also it’s a hidden treasure for sure for the price!

Yep. 4 configurations. Short, med, long, rifle optimized. I want a .22 mac10.
    Oh, wait...

Finally, I get to play too!
B&T Rotex X 762 with the Surefire adapter. Just came home tonight, stuck it on an AR because it was beside my bed and was wearing a Warcomp. Less than 3 weeks on a trust!

Need to test it on my 30-30 after I handload some subs. :). My next can will be a 30cal or 45cal.

I'm still trying to resist the call of the 8.6 (338) next I want to SBR my 308 (the one I want to change to 8.6, you see where it's going?) then a .22/223...
I think Q is giving away a "free" can with their rifles.v8.6
    I built a 12.5 - 308, boat anchor, flame thrower. Probably wasn't making x39 power. Sold it.
0 point in getting a 223 can, by the time you dumb it down to subsonic might as well use a .22lr. My .02. YMMV.
