How come locking a thread does not seem to lock it? Snake Eyes posted in a locked thread and I saw some others in the post about for sale section rules. Thanks

It would be great if a SOLD/CLOSED thread showed COLSED in thumbnail like before so you don't have to click on it and read the thread just to see it was sold/closed . Thank you.

I had a thread I had locked, and got a reply on it. I checked after answering, and it showed unlock as a selection on the pull down menu, seeming to indicate it was locked. I unlocked it, locked it again and posted an edit note. Thread is at:

I second the"Locking of the Thread" option / problem. The way it is allows alot of old posts to keep being bumped :ie coming to the surface and polluting the currant topics. Also not having a SOLD or CLOSED caption on thumbnail picture confuses some people as to weather or not the item has sold and entices them to ask (bump) and there the cycle goes again. jmho

mod can soft delete a thread, so we don't see it, but they can still see it..hard delete kills it forever for all...

Not sure if anyone else has experienced it, but looking at Buyer/Seller Reviews the last page reached via the sticky is dated Jan 8, 2013. I see more current reviews in the heads up/preview panes and can find more recent with a keyword search; but after the date above there appear to be no reviews available.

Is there a fix for the For Sale Section where the threads aren't sorted "Last Message" Descending as the default, like the rest of the forum?

Whatever subsection of the For Sale Section I visit, wherever it's Firearms, Accessories, Reviews, unless I specifically click on Filters and set it as Last Message, Descending, they are ordered strangely. And it only lasts for that "visit" to the section.

Other members have reported the same issue.

How do we set the sorting default for the forum?
