New Classified ad system

New Classified Ad System Notes (should be up and running):

1) The new system will give the sellers better control over their ads. Ads still require location 1 photo minimum, title, price and description.
2) The system will keep things cleaner as far as old ads actually expire or are easier to close.
3) This does not work on Tapatalk, they have changed owners yet again, and do not support forums like this any longer with new additions such as this. You can browse the site simply on your hone via a browser.
4) I will have TAGS coming soon such as ammo type, gun type, and so on, this will make things easier to search, etc.
5) 5 open ads max per user.

Not much else to say. This will go a long way to the eventuality we will no longer allows scanning of ads unless you're logged in.

Please browse the system, test it out. Holler here if you see any errors.

Good luck , from all the firearm listings for sale, either the seller to to lazy to list necessary details** or they have car salesman DNA in them and they do so to get people to keep their ad going by asking questions.
All rifle's for sale should include ;
1 Caliber , 223 , 308 ect.
2.Chamberings, For AR's wylde or NATO,
3. Barrel length and twist
For pistols
Barrel length and number of Mags. included
For either any ammo included or available
But as stated above, I don't see this happening

I looked. First 2 ads were from Friday. Then everything else seemed to be from 2012?

we also need to rebuild cache, hence all the old ads, etc - small glitch stopping, so stay tuned

Same here. I think the old system was good and simple.

wasn't simple and a pain in butt to mod, people won't post photos, etc etc etc. no to mention early bumps, once the kinks are gone the system will roll nicely.

I understand. I'm not hip on technology. Took me a couple of months to learn the forum and how to use it. Change sucks for me. Maybe after the bugs work out it will be easier on folks like me. Thanks for trying to make it a better place here and dedicating your time to keep it running Admins and moderators.

Not sure what's going on, but I do not have the ability to bump my own threads (no permissions) and can not find any way to post a new ad in the for sale section.

So we wont be able to post until tomorrow? I dont have any permissions in any of the for sale sections. When I try to post a new thread from the main page I can't select the for sale forum...

you need to create new ads in the Classifieds system, not in the Forum.
