I paid last year too, I assumed they had the info off the bottom of my check? and I am on SS so they have the bank account that is deposited into there too?

Frank, it is tax free. However, as stated somewhere above, nothing is ever truly free.

It’s supposed to be tax free, and for now it is. However congress could change that in late November or early December when most of the years tax laws are written, immediately after elections.

I'm not getting mine. States you had to file in 2018 and 2019 to get a check. It was pushed back to July 15th so I haven't filed yet. Been busy. I also pay in each year. Don't think it's fair that I'm within the law and currently not getting a check. I'm calling my tax lady tomorrow and see about filing and getting a check.

Since I do have direct deposit of my SS, maybe treasury will send it electronically.
