I have a like new Kershaw Breakout Auto knife that i got a month ago. And since I don't have a CCL, I can't carry it. So instead of letting the beauty sit in a lockbox for a few years, i'm going to sell it.

you will want to double check on that. I'm 99% certain that there are no restrictions on carrying auto knives in florida.

Call The Gear Barrel in Ocala, they will know for sure.

Confusing at best Longshot. Seems to me if your auto is 4" or less you can carry in your pocket, or you can carry almost anything openly..seems auto knives are not specifically addressed. Keep your knife and enjoy it.

For the most part, Florida knife laws are easy. You can own any knife as long as it is not a ballistic knife and, if you keep your knives at home, you should be fine. You can also open carry any knife you want. You can conceal carry any box cutter, multi-tool, or 4 inch pocket knife. Conceal carry of any other type of knife can or can not be considered carrying a concealed weapon so watch out.

I use it as a light EDC. I deal with cutting tough stuff to much to carry this beauty as a heavy cutting tool . it's what cardboard nightmares are made of though.
