I kind of got out of cooking for a while but ready to jump back in. My mom was an amazing cook as attested to by all the guys in my neighborhood when I was a teen. I learned a lot from her and hope I haven't forgotten it all.

On the flip side she taught me to enjoy any and all food, ethnicity or whatever. My downfall is that I seldom ever come across something I don't like. If I was a finicky eater I might be 40 lbs. lighter.

Cook it up Sean!! I always like me something different every now and then, I pull from Dad's recipe book when I want something different, I am glad he showed me how to cook it right....

Breakfast this morning. One traditional Eggs Benedict, and one with Moho pork.

Dinner is almost ready, pintos cooked the old way. Soaked overnight, and simmered all day. With Moho pork, garlic, and onions. Served on rice with a sprinkling of Four Mexican Cheese mix and a teaspoon of sour cream! Maybe a little lime too.

They would have gone real well with the contents of that smoker! Nice load of smoked meat there. Just need a big jug Of Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce to make it perfect.
