Looking for a good solid shotgun. Getting into turkey hunting this year and need one just in general. Doesn't matter if it's pump or semi auto. Thanks and much appreciated.

I have a Benelli SBE2 for sale - 3.5” turkey loads run great through it and the inertia driven bolt takes the sting out of them (also have a pump 3.5 that will knock you over with them).

Mainly for turkey hunting because that's what I've grown up on using. I've never gotten real into turkey hunting like I have deer, so it's just what I prefer because it's what I know. But I'm always open to suggestions.

I shot a nice bird out west with a 270. They allow rifles/pistols for turkey. Perfect shot entered above the beard and cleaned the insides right out. Breasts were fine.

2 3/4... only all that 3 inch, 3.5 and "magic " shot shells is marketing bs. Use plain old #6 pheasant load.

There is an old car saying “there is no replacement for displacement”.

more powder and more pellets are not just BS. There is more more there.

Sure you can kill a turkey with a pheasant load - but you are not going to be taking more than one shot - might as well make it count.
