With this new M&P40 SHIELD! I bought this a couple weeks ago from Blake at Gun Depot. Finally had a chance to shoot it today. The very first round drilled the bullseye from 10 yards. The recoil was surprisingly mild for such a little gun. It wasn't any snappier than my full size M&P40 with fmj. However, the Winchester Ranger's had a noticeable snap but it was still controllable.

I highly recommend the shield to anyone considering a small ccw.

I have a Shield in 9mm and I have to agree, very mild felt recoil for such a small light gun. Now if my wife will just give it back.......
