So I have been looking for a 1980’s model blued Ruger GP100, a S&W model 19 pinned and recessed with a 2 1/2” barrel nickel plated, and a nice classic Remington 1100 in .20 gauge. What are some you have been trying to find for years ??

Been looking for a local SVT-40 in good matching condition local at an ok price since I turned 18. Only ever seen 1 in person local, overpriced, non matching, ok shape.

    Worst Mistake EVER..

Was offered a reconstructed M40 recoilless rifle. The rifle was a demilled rewelded back together with a subcaliber 30-06 shell welded in the breech so that it was a now a very large glorious wonderful looking 30-06 rifle on a tripod.

I had the money, the ability to pick it up but alas too greedy. I was hoping for finding one with a 50 cal subcaliber shell.. After all who wants a recoilless rifle to sound just like a 30-06 rifle.. :(

That was at least 20+ years ago and not a day goes by that I do not regret walking away from this.

Recently at one of Rennigers military shows there was a seller there offering a dummy recoilless rifle. Of course for more then the shooter I passed on and of course it did not shoot. So that thing haunts me to this day.

I think there's a 19 in the for sale section right now...

A decent priced Virtus 556 lol. Have all the other makes basically that I want. It's last on the list. Then I can get back to collecting less expensive pistols again

Is there even such a thing? Decent priced Virtus. They really retain their value.

Not that one ever needs to explain desire, because the heart wants what it wants.
But if you can explain why the want and cost for this beautiful pistol.
I like quality, precision-made pistols, and I appreciate the detail and craftsmanship that made these pistols extremely accurate. I also think they are beautiful works of art, and I'm proud to have one in my collection. I chose the 6 inch version over the 5" due to additional scarcity & desirability. The cost, including the addition of a couple extra original magazines, was under $3800.

A deluxe Winchester model 43 in 22 hornet caliber, like new in the box. I’ve got the standard grade, but have looked for a deluxe in the same condition for more than 30 years . At this point in life price is irrelevant.
