Glock 19 with optics cut for my wife

So my wife wants to switch to having a red dot and her Glock 19 does not have the cut, would I be better off just buying a whole new Glock or should I buy the slide with the optics cut in it?

As in the Title was looking for a local shop that does slide milling. Does anyone know a place? I am local to Pace/Pensacola

So I did some reading and it says it only works with gen3? Is that true? If so my wife’s is a gen 5 :|

I love my green dot!

I've found green to be visible over a wider range of light conditions than red, but it's what works for the individual that matters most.

I’ve been in construction my whole life and has messed my eyes up pretty good. But Green, I feel like I shoot better.
