My buddy in PA has a small 2.5acre back yard to hunt in the city he lives in. Here’s his target buck for the year.

Trying a water source. The bucks seem to be in and out of the area every few days and I thought about it and there is not any water source within half a mile or more. Most of my water spilled out while I was dragging it out with the 4wheeler. Getting some longer hose to reach out there.

I have seen a couple get real good results with buried coy ponds.
It took them some time to get used to it enough to use it.

Cleaning up my trail cam pics saved on my phone and almost missed this guy! It was a video and he starts out behind a tree so I thought nothing was there until he stepped out 3 seconds in. Another nice BW buck hanging around

funny stuff...can't tell you how many I shot behind the corn crib at my grandfathers in the sweet potatoes...they didn't dig the taters...but they ate the vines to the ground....lots of water in them.

Just in from 4 days in the woods. I took a 110 pound doe but no buck sightings. Wife shot at 2 does… missed 1, found fur but nothing else on the 2nd. Both 180 yard shots, an hour apart. With her new ruger predator .308…. Ugh. Think I’m gonna have to suck it up and get her a lesson with a pro. Every time she picks the gun up she holds it differently…. I’ve done what i can do. I’m just not a good teacher. Will probably listen to an instructor better than her husband


I’m pleased with my 12 point and her nice 8 point from our trip a few weeks ago and the doe from this trip puts more meat in the freezer. But with dad out of commission this year I need at least 100 more pounds of burger to supply 2 households for the year.


Here’s a few pics of some of the deer left. There’s a few other good bucks too that I didn’t dig that far back in the camera roll, these are all last few days. One of them just a few minutes ago. They’re rolling in hot tonight. Of course, they probably saw us leave
