Closest I’ve had deer to the house is about 20 feet under a street light near our parked vehicles. They love pears and I’ve got an old gnarly pear tree that produces a decent crop every other year.

I've made jerky with them, gamey but not bad.

Yep. Have a swamp NNW of us, my guess is they are coming from there. Need to draw them a map to luverne or beatrix. I would live trap em and move but not home. The deer don't like em, at all.

Dogs appear to have trackers on them. Bride said she heard em coon hunting off to the North last night. Long as they aren't there during deer season everything is good.

I doubt they’ll be running dogs come deer season. Neighbors dogs would be a bigger problem.
