I wouldn’t mind living next to a cemetery. All those things you listed, minus the misguided idiots, would be nice.
Even so, if some a-hole protestors decided to try to desecrate that sacred real estate, well maybe this retired guy has some time on his hands and a comfy lookout spot to help out the “neighbors”, huh?
Coincidentally, I know a guy who runs a cemetery, and he lives next to it. People would ask him if it bothered him living next to all of those dead people.
He would answer, “Nah, they’re mostly quiet. The only time they bother me is when they wake me up at night to ask for some water.”
